The nonprofit Money Conference returns to Knapp Elementary School on Saturday November 2, 2019. The Conference offers affordable, high-quality, and unbiased financial education at very low cost, in a setting that is fun and inspirational for all. The information taught at the Conference can have an immediate and positive “pocket-book” impact and can show you how to achieve higher income and net worth over the long term.
Adults can chose from 15 separate classroom workshops that are held at three blocks of time, with 3 additional classes in Spanish. Age-appropriate classes will also be conducted for students, and free childcare is included with the modest admission charge. The Conference also features information tables staffed by financial institutions and community-serving organizations, the opportunity to obtain a credit report with credit score, and time to discuss your individual credit report with knowledgeable experts.

Financial Investment Challenge Bowl (FICB) is a financial literacy study program culminating in a college bowl quiz competition. The FICB aligns with statewide learning standards for financial literacy and is an effective strategy to promote learning.
The Competition features student teams (up to 4 members and an alternate) competing for trophies and fabulous prizes.
All FICB teams are led by adult coaches who help students study and prepare, as a classroom or an after school activity.
